- How to take a screenshot on Windows 10 with the PrtScn key
- The simplest way to take a screenshot on Windows 10 is by clicking PrtScn on your keyboard.
- This key prints the entire screen on a clipboard.
- You have to save the screenshot by pasting it in an image editor such as Paint App.

- To capture the entire screen and automatically save the screenshot,click Windows key+PrtScn
- The saved picture will be stored in Pictures->Screenshots folder.
- How to take a screenshot on Windows 10 with Snipping Tool
- Start the Snipping Tool from the Start menu.
- For this, you will need to click the windows key on your keyboard and search for the Snipping tool.
- Select the Mode drop down in the snipping tool and choose the shape of screenshot you need.
- This is the only way where you can select which part of the screen you need to consider for a screenshot.
- Other methods just screenshots the whole screen and then you will need to modify the screenshot.
- You can choose the following shapes.
- Free form snip
- Rectangular snip
- Window snip
- Full-screen snip
- Windows key + Print Screen
- Press the keyboard shortcut Windows key + Print screen.
- Your screen gets dimmed to show you that the screenshot is taken.
- If this doesn’t show on your screen navigate to the below folder and check if the screenshot is available.
- The saved picture will be stored in Pictures->Screenshots folder.

- Press the keyboard shortcut Windows key +Shift+S.
- You will see Snip & Sketch’s menu at the top of your screen.
- There you can choose the type of screenshot you want to capture.
- Alt+Print Screen
- To take a quick screenshot of the screen,press Alt +Print Screen.
- It gets copied to the clipboard.
- To open and save you need an image editor.
- Windows key+G (Game bar)
- Press the keyboard shortcut Windows key +G.
- Click the Capture icon on top of the screen.
